I have had a passion for makeup, especially special effects makeup, from a young age. My first real taste of being part of the makeup industry was aged 14 where I was the resident makeup artist for a local amateur dramatics group. I held this role for 3 years but unfortunately had to resign when I relocated for university. This experience confirmed to me that this was the career path I wanted and all of my education since has been towards the aim of learning the art of makeup.

I have studied over the last 5 years, initially completing a level 3 BTEC at college with a distinction*, distinction *, distinction grade before going on to university to study makeup artistry, where I have recently graduated with a 2:1 degree.

I enjoy using my natural creativity, which won me first place in the National Royal Opera House Design challenge for 2013. I also love learning new techniques and testing new products and am always willing to learn to help improve my skills.

Whilst I enjoy working within all fields of the makeup world, it is my ultimate aim to join the TV and Film industry.
